Very very odd interview process. Non-technical HR person slated for the phone screen to ask a sheet of Q's with expected answers. For example, "What is the difference between machine code and assembly?" My initial reaction was that this was a silly question because they're the same, but then remembered that of course, assembly doesn't take into account endianess and other platform specifics that could actually vary between the two representations. The expected answer was that there is no difference and they are one-to-one -_- Other similar Q's... etc. I was then moved on to a Zoom interview conducted by two non-RE personnel from CNO-type roles, who questioned me on networking details for an hour. They specifically told me that neither of them, nor my final interviewer, were slated for any of the projects I would have been working on. Complete waste of my time to select a candidate with a clear resume bias towards certain technologies and then disregard those technologies during the interview.
