The most insane experience lol
You’ll do a screening with a recruiter. Mine read from a script and looked empty in the eyes. It was clear they hated their job and life. They said all that matters is KPI & productivity. They ask you a scenario about a pizza shop that makes no sense “how would you change a pizza parlor that took 3 hours to get your pizza to you?” They refused any answer you give hut ask for 10 things ranked. The funniest thing is they said they’d tell me next steps in 1 week, they called 3 weeks later so I felt like asking them “how would you change a company where recruiters took 3 weeks to share an update?” But I’m not that petty lol then you’ll be asked to do a cognitive assessment. If they had an hr dept, they’d know this is a huge liability for neurodiverse candidates and/or the process. 1) they won’t share results 2) they won’t tell you why. This is only useful for more of an analytical role. I passed and the next step is to do free labor! You work on a req and show them your techniques. This is another no no in the real world of best practices. I hope they have great lawyers bc I’m sure they’ll someday get sued for these practices.

Question 1
If you ordered a pizza and it took 3 hours, what things would you do to improve the process?

Hosting recruiter was timely and communicative with updates!
The questions I was asked seemed like red flags. My impression is that it may be a dysfunctional and harsh environment and they want to make sure the hire can handle it. I appreciate that they want to make sure it's a good fit, but it sounds like they need to do some work internally.
Doesn't seem like a good sign that several of their recruiting related roles have been open for so long as well.
I probably would have still accepted an offer because the comp package looked good but I might have regretted it later on.

initial video call, then you have to take an assessment that has nothing to do with recruiting and took almost 2 hours. I then was moved to the next round where the person that interviewed me asked bizzare questions. i kept being asked if i had questions i wanted her to ask about my resume..
