J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Choice Hotels en mars 2017
Entretien
Applied online. Several days later heard from a screening recruiter. Spent about 30 minutes on the phone with the recruiter. About a week later received an email asking if I could fly to a panel interview session about 3 weeks later. Travel arrangements were booked by the Choice Hotels. Spent an entire day in a series of interview sessions. Met with 2 people at a time (Other Area Directors and VP) throughout the morning. Had a 'working lunch' with the team where all applicant could ask questions of the panel. Returned to the interview session to do a 30-minute writing assignment and then present a 5 to 10-minute case study to the panel. While they often would laugh about it - the panel was at times negative about their hotels and brands. Didn't seem to be proud of their hotels. At the end of the day - no information was provided on next steps or timeline. After 4 weeks of waiting and follow up emails to the recruiter, received a generic "Thank you for applying" email.

Multi-part interview. The first part was an initial phone screen with your standard questions (work history, goals, what they are looking for etc), then a second phone interview with more detailed questions (scenarios). Then got flown in for a group interview for the final part. (4 candidates at the same time) This process went all day and included group discussion, individual interviews and a case study. Finally at the end of the day you had to do an one minute "elevator pitch" why you are the right candidate.
They then never followed up with final decisions even a courtesy email or phone call saying thanks for your time. They are such busy a business they could not send three regret emails? It is a poor manners

Question 1
Work history, industry knowledge, how do you deal with people
The company is very slow in the hiring process. The end results is they do have some great people working for them. They use several layers of contact to identify the right candidate for hire

They interview was straight forward. However, I had to repeat myself multiple times because I interviewed with multiple people.
