I had an HR interview for a job in Canada. During the conversation, the HR representative asked how she could be sure I wouldn't leave the company after being hired, since they would be investing in me. At the end of the interview, she emphasized that I should follow up by email if I didn’t hear back after a few days — which I did. However, she never responded.
