Applied online by sending CV and cover letter to the lab manager, then got a phone interview invite a month later. On the day of the interview, I received the call about 15 minutes after it was scheduled and there was a lot of background noise on the manager's end, so I couldn't hear well at some times. From the interview, it was clear they had already chosen someone else as they didn't even ask me any questions related to embryology. I later found out they had just called me because I had the right educational background (master's degree) but chose someone with over 2 years of experience in an embryology lab for an entry-level position with supposedly no experience required.
