There is an option to agree to take a survey in the job application. As soon as you apply, however, you'll get an automatic email with the survey that uses some misleading wording. The email says "Upon reviewing your resume, we are happy to move your application to the next stage in our recruiting process." I went ahead a filled out the survey which was 7 first-stage interview-like questions. Got an email about a month later saying I wasn't selected. The misleading wording is strange since it could fool others into thinking they are closer to having a shot. They could have had these questions in the application. While I did agree to take the survey, it just felt like a waste of time since you're not actually in the "next stage" of their recruiting process.
