I had a phone interview with my then future manager, follow by an on-site interview with my then future manager, a PM, and the VP of engineering.
The phone interview was super chill. The questions were totally reasonable about my personality, why I wanted to leave my current position, and my skills.
When I arrived on-site, I had my portfolio prepared and walked through it with the various interviewers, however, that did not seem to be as important as how I engaged with the interviewers. The questions were similar to the phone interview; why are you leaving your current company, what are you looking for, etc.
I stressed that I wanted to be in a company where I could make an impact and every person I spoke to made it very clear that CloudLock is that place. The company has many practices in place to recognize their employees; everything from personal goals being tied to your bonus to company-wide recognition along the company values. Everyone I spoke to was passionate but easy-going; competent but not obnoxious. Furthermore, everyone seemed like they genuinely liked working at the company and with each other, it seemed like a fun, passionate, and collaborative team.
