J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cloudera (New York, NY) en févr. 2013
Entretien
I had a phone interview with Cloudera in Feb 2013.
The interviewer was driving as he was taking the interview. Although I asked him if he wants to reschedule the interview for some other day since he didn't quiet seem to care.
Asked me some general questions regarding databases and UNIX. Nothing too tough. He did not have my resume in front of him and asked quiet a few irrelevant questions. The whole thing seemed quiet unprofessional. Seemed like they had already made up their minds not to hire (for whatever reasons). The whole exercise was a waste of time.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cloudera (Boston, MA) en oct. 2015
Entretien
The interview process involved 4-5 phone interviews and 2 onsite interviews, where I met with 2-3 people each time.
I was very impressed by how professional everyone was. Cloudera takes hiring very seriously and that's why they want you to meet pretty much everyone you'll be working with. And that's why they are doing really well and have great people working for them. They want to be absolutely certain there's a good fit for the company and the position. After all the interviews, once the hiring manager was certain that they wanted to extend an offer he put great effort to accommodate my requests and get the offer in my hands as soon as possible. I started work a few days ago and I'm even more impressed by how smoothly onboarding has gone. I'm really excited to join the team!
