Standard phone screen with the recruiter to discuss their interpretation of the role, salary, etc. The interview process was supposed to go like this - recruiter phone screen, hiring manager, and then two other hour long interviews with other stakeholders. I get to my interview with the hiring manager. We had a decent conversation where I got to know more about the role and the HM got to know more about my prior experiences. That was it. I was completely ghosted after that. I tried to follow up to both the HM and the recruiter and all I got was radio silence. At least have the decency to notify me that you were moving on. It was extremely unprofessional. These folks were acquired by a much larger firm so who knows what's going on behind the scenes, but there isn't a great excuse to be had.
