I was told I’d be referred to the hiring manager and would hear about next steps soon. Instead, I got months of vague excuses, repeated delays, and zero proactive communication. Every update only came after I chased them down myself. First it was budget issues, then a “holding pattern,” then “stay tuned my friend”, and then nothing. Who knows what happened? It’s now April, and I’ve still heard nothing. If the role was canceled, just say that. Ghosting candidates for months is unprofessional and disrespectful. I wasted my time. This experience left me with a very poor impression of the company, and I will not apply again.
