It was an awful situation. The interview went smoothly. Both the first and second rounds were passed by me. I received a call regarding a pay talk prior to the HR round. I told them what I expected, and they apologized that they couldn't match my desired salary. I then said that I would like to pass up this opportunity and then, all of a sudden, they were prepared to match my offer, but during the hr discussion, they once more stated that they could not meet my expectations. When I informed her that your supervisor had stated that they could meet the standards, she firmly replied, "Sorry, we cannot," so I dropped the ctc I had requested, to which they replied, "Even we cannot provide this." Again, she indicated she would recommend this to her supervisor once I negotiated for a lower CTC. When I called her two days later, she told me that her supervisor was not answering. I haven't heard from the team in any way so far. I would request Coforge If you don't have the resources to match candidates' expectations, then please stop wasting their time.
