First is recruiter screening, applied for dev-ops but he directed me to Infrastructure engineer role, not sure how he concluded that. Next is coding question, the interviewer was nice, except that i was not sure what they are looking for in a candidate.

Coding Question: A buys food for $100 shares among B, C, D and A. B buys groceries for $50 shares among C & D. Print how much each owes in format: A owes $x, B owes $y etc.

Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and later scheduled a call. We had a good discussion and told me that she would schedule the interview. After few days she emailed me that we are not hiring H1b candidates.

Slow reply from first contact, slower still after online screening interview. Very opaque rejection reply with standardised tone and form.
The recruiter made the company seem like an unfriendly and elitist place to work overall. Unhealthy attitude in my opinion.
