Originally, I was contracted by the VP of Sales and reported directly to he and the other hiring managers whom were using me to source candidates. This always the preferred method for an external recruiter as it offers the best "real" feedback. In the beginning, there were minimal interviews at about 3 max before an offer was made within 10- 14 days. Later the process grew to include as many as 6 different voices before a decision was made which went over 4 weeks plus and resulted in fewer candidates lasting through the process.
As time went on, the interview process also needed to route through an internal recruiter which resulted in much interference in the story lines and eventually my services were discontinued as the company bleed dry of cash.
