I initially contacted the hiring manager on LinkedIn and subsequently applied through their website. The following day, I was contacted by the recruiter to schedule a phone screen, followed by three interviews on Microsoft Teams with the hiring manager and two other managers.
I was then invited onsite for interviews with the director, the hiring manager again, the project manager, and the HR manager. After a week, I followed up with the recruiter, who informed me that she was receiving positive feedback from the team and advised me to wait until after the holidays for a decision on how they would proceed.
However, after the holidays, I received a rejection email from the recruiter. It was very frustrating to go through multiple rounds of interviews, receive good feedback, and then be rejected. It seems they may prefer internal candidates in their hiring process. The entire process started on November 9th and concluded on December 4th.
