I was asked in November 2020 to interview with Umpqua for an internal employee relations position. The recruiter never called me, come to find out she had a meeting creep up and couldn't call me. Ok fine, she asked to re-schedule which we did for the following week. She failed to call again. I followed-up with an email and she ghosted me. It was right before the holiday stretch so I figured things just got too busy before everyone was out of the office. She contacted me again in January to move forward with a phone interview. Third times a charm, she actually managed to call me (late) and then she moved me to the next round. I told her I'd be on vacation and wouldn't have my laptop, if the team wanted to video call it would be better to wait for the following week. She preasured me to move forward with an interview via phone, to which I agreed. I saw the calendar invite come through as a teams video call. Again, I followed-up to let her know I wouldn't be able to video call and asked her to confirm with the team it was just a phone call. She confirmed it was just a phone call. Low and behold I join the call from my phone and the first thing the interviewer asked me was about the video logistics and wanted to know if I'd be joining via video call. I feel like this left a poor impression on the team, and due to how much of the interview details had slipped between the crack previously I can't say I feel confident in this company's interview practices.
