Traveled over 2 hours to interview in person after a quick phone interview, only to find the appropriate staff scheduled to interview me were not in the office, and this was never communicated to me. Had to travel back to Boston again to interview in person which was mostly a mess of random people unaware of who I was or what position I was interviewing for and the in person meeting seemed completely unnecessary. After being hired, the 2 week onboarding process that all employees are supposedly required to go through was “skipped” so I could go right into my new job…this failure to train me consistently negatively impacted the rest of my time at the company, as I missed out on learning the proper EHR skills, running the front desk operations, bonding with my colleagues, etc. The decision for me to forego this crucial training process was made by my direct supervisor, a Chief on the leadership team.
