I was contacted by recrutter and when we started discussing salary ranges, the recruter could not tell me clearly what the ranges were. I asked about net per month, he told me a number that was unreasonably high. After several questions, I figured out it was per year. And when I asked if it is gross, he replied "I think so". Considering the taxes are around 40% this was important, and would be something a recruter can clearly tell.
