J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Concurrency

      Entretien

Most painful, unprofessional process I've been involved in. They sought me out - I did not post for the position, but was targeted through LinkedIn. During the HR phone interview, the recruiter seemed to be telling me what I wanted to hear. As an example, I expressed that I was looking to stay local, which she said my focus would be, but later she said there was a huge, long-term project out of town on which I could expect to be staffed (which was in response to my question about chances to meet colleagues). But I decided to press on. Phone conversation with the hiring manager was fine. He was late, but reasonably so (7 minutes). I was then scheduled for an additional phone interview and an in-person interview. The next phone interview didn't happen. It was scheduled at 5pm, but when 5:25 rolled around without a call, I decided I did not want to continue (was called at 5:27 with a curt voicemail left, implying annoyance at my not answering). I sent a note to the recruiter at 5:25, requesting cancellation of my interview the next morning. At 10am, when I had been scheduled for the interview, I received calls asking where I was. Then I received a very nasty note from the recruiter, telling me she was "extremely disappointed" and saying that I had been called twice the night before and that I was responsible for people traveling in from Wisconsin unnecessarily. I don't know if they are growing too quickly or that their culture is disrespectful to people, but it's nowhere I want to work. They also need to remember that I'm interviewing them as much as they are me (or more so, because they hunted me down).

Thank you for sharing your recent interview experience with us. We strive to continuously improve our recruiting process and welcome both positive and negative feedback. Our intent is to keep consultants local as much as possible to allow them to maximize their time at home, as well as, decrease travel costs. However, there are times when the workload at a particular client requires our consultants to occasionally travel for short periods of time. We are sorry to hear that you were kept waiting to speak to one of our consultants. We scheduled his interview with you at the end of his day but sometimes the needs of the client precludes our consultants from disengaging from their work at 5pm. We now know better to space in-person interviews out a bit farther to allow for last minute changes of mind by candidates. However, I would suggest calling to cancel interviews in the future. Emails sent after work hours can often get lost in the shuffle and not read till the next morning. Best wishes as you pursue your next professional experience.
