Initial interview process was fine from recruiter to hiring manager. When it came to the global partner marketing rep, she took my call (she said she didn’t look at my resume) at a busy conference, seemed uninterested at all, asked one question, and then “hung up on me” as she got up to walk around the conference hall. She never tried reconnecting to the video conference. She didn’t try reaching me or contacting the recruiter to reach me. I sat there for several minutes and wondered if our interview was done. After I emailed her, she said she lost connection and couldn’t get hold of me. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. The very next day, I got the rejection letter. In my own opinion, she had already made up her mind that I wasn’t a fit. She did a poor job of expressing professionalism despite of the connectivity/technical issues. Glad I was not a fit for her after her passive aggressive interview style.
