Phone screen with Engineer manager, he was great asked background questions, and gave a lot of information about the role. After, the interview was done, he told me to call the recruiter back to follow up and that he was writing down good details about my profile. Therefore, the following 2 week, I emailed the recruiter (I did not have his direct contact) and they responded a week earlier saying they are still conducting interviews and would email me back the following week. I waited another 2 week emailed again, no response, and called the recruiters phone ,no response. I feel like that was very unprofessional of the recruiter. I would prefer an email just saying I was declined, but to get my hopes up during the interview and then having a recruiter that can't communicate professionally really set a bad taste for this company.
