      I somewhat recently interviewed at Criteria. I totally understand that they are going to use their own software with people who apply to the company. I would find it weird if they didn't. What I wasn't happy with, was when I had the live virtual interview with 2 managers, one of them showed up late, didn't apologize, and didn't even introduce themselves. They just jumped in with questions as if they were forced to be there. It was pretty disappointing because I diligently prepared for the interview because I really wanted to be a part of this company. It felt like I wasn't even really given the time of day, and I won't be giving anymore time or thought to it...

      Thank you for your honest and insightful review. OMG, we would be disappointed too. Interviewing is already tough (the preparation, anticipation, and stress) and not receiving warm reception is unacceptable. On behalf of our organization, we apologize to you. You deserved to be seen and heard and this interaction with Criteria let you down. We are re-training all team members on interviewing and deeply value your insights; they will make us better.

      The first round was an online assessment. It had two parts: a cognitive test and then a personality / EI test. The cognitive test consisted of 55 questions covering basic math, sequences of shapes, and SAT-style word associations. Felt like a rat in a maze as I was going through this. The personality/EI test is similar to the Hogan assessment, but the way Critiera words the questions is off-putting. They ask about anger, pain, relationships, and family, all in absolute terms. Felt invasive and borderline inappropriate. Really bad first impressions. If this is what they sell, then buyer beware.

      Online Assessment completed including recorded interview questions. This process took about 30 minutes. The questions were automated, with a couple of minutes to process / think before recording an answer.
