My interview was very insulting. My interview was in a dining room where there was a lot of noise and dirty tables. The interviewer was not professional just handed me a paper with a series of questions. When I was doing the interview the interviewer interrupted me by saying disrespectful comments about as if I was not doing the assessment correctly. When I finished the assessment as of 30 technical questions and It only took me about 10 minutes, he told me that while I was doing an evaluation, he was just playing games on his cell phone and also joking with me. After qualifying my evaluation, I did very well in the evaluation, but he (the interviewer) did not want to acknowledge it, so he told me he was not qualified for the job, so it was a waste of time. I called the company to notify them of what happened with the interview but they ignored my complaints.

Very informal. Initial interview was done over the phone, local manager requested a f2f interview which was a walk around the local Lowes store showing me what I would be working on.

Pretty standard interview setup.
The Pre-Interview Screening was all online through a 3rd Party vendor, which was a first for me, but not too uncomfortable, nor was it difficult. There was a skills test and background check. Both pretty standard today.
Then standard phone interviews using the STAR method somewhat. Then asked some detailed questions about my background. Felt more like a team fit, versus a technical interview. They did go to great lengths to explain the position and expectations, and a bit about the company culture. Overall the experience was not bad.
The only real CON I have about the process is how the Lead Recruiter handled me deciding to go with another job offer I had. Became very accusatory and demeaning about it all. They took it very personally when I declined. It left a sour note in my mouth. The rest of the team I reached out to let know I was accepting somewhere else, were very professional and courteous about it. So it may have just been the one recruiter.
