The HR Manager reached out to me on LinkedIn about the opening. We had the initial phone screen and then she scheduled time for to speak to one of the owners. I had an interview with him over Zoom and he said the that HR would be in touch to schedule the next step. I waited a week and followed up with her when I hadn’t heard back. She said that that had just made an offer to another candidate which was accepted. Clearly she did care about my time at all and didn’t have the common decency to let me know that they were moving forward with another candidate. Shows you what the company thinks of candidates!
