Before any interview, I was asked to complete a Skills Assessment. The email said that it should take 60-90 minutes, but gave me the whole weekend to complete it. Being a perfectionist (and unemployed), I spent at least 4 hours on the assignment, but with great success - I got an interview. I had a lovely 30 minute phone interview with an HR consultant, and advanced to the next round. The next interview was 90 minutes with the Hiring Manager and an hour with 2 peers that the role would work with if hired. Everyone was incredibly nice, even while asking tough questions.
