Initial phone screen, 30 min manager interview, 1hr in-depth call with the manager, 15min HR interview, then final round panel interview (4 rounds). Behavioral & general technical questions typical for Senior Support Engineers.
Everything seemed like a good fit until the first round of the panel when the VP clarified he was looking for 10+ years of experience in the fraud detection field (manager stated no/minimal experience was expected) in addition to technical skills to direct Senior Data Scientists & Senior Product Engineers?
Probably wasn't intentional, but came off as condescending. He mainly focused on explaining how much more complex DataVisor's software/tools were compared to what was listed on my resume.
We cut the interview short & I left before the other rounds -- he did mention first thing in the interview that he often sends applicants home early for this position.
Job description stated 3+ years in Support.
