I was contacted by a recruiter, then had an initial interview with said recruiter. I was passed to the next round with the hiring manager for second interview. Hiring manager was positive and engaging, transparent with expectations and that while I have a wealth of knowledge and experience, they were likely entering a different sector than my experience aligned with.
