I was interviewed for a SWE position in DE/NL and I didn't get an offer, but I really don't regret trying. DeepL interview process stands out, and all communication was professional and effective, with the fast feedback.

Geektastic code challenge, about implementing a real-world scenario unsing non-trivial data structures
After initial recruiter screening there was live coding session in .Net to implement DFS in Google Docs - no IDE. Hiring manager was providing hints when stuck. Very cooperative atmosphere
Application followed by a link to schedule a chat with a recruiter a day later, chatted with the recruiter and discussed various aspects of the company. Would have been followed by technical interviews but I withdrew at this point.

The interview started by testing my knowledge on databases and technologies that I know, after that the interviewer delved into questions related to backend/frontend. For example, how to update the state in React? How would you manage the global state? As for the backend, just asked how to architect an app + how to design a database
