      Entretien

2 part interview process. The first interview is with 3-4 sales supervisors from different verticals (i.e. Dental, Medical, Salons). Each one interviews you separately but usually asks you the same basic questions: 1) Why do you want to leave your current job 2) Tell me more about yourself 3)What do you do at your current job 4)What makes you successful 5)What is the easiest/hardest part of your job 6) What is your current role and whats your day to day 7) Where do you see yourself in 2 year 8) What sales books have you read or currently reading* 9) How many dials did you make 10) What was your quota 11) Did you ever prospect 12) What college degree you have This interview style is more conversational and less formal. Take a deep breathe and be yourself. Have a lot of energy and feel proud of your accomplishments. They will ask you what questions you have for them in the end. This is a good way to find out if the company actually fits you. Ask them about day to day and whatever you feel will help you decided if Demandforce is for you. Finally, close them. Ask for a second interview, etc. Be professional, be friendly, be honest. They are human too. If they ask you back for a 2nd interview, you should know the same day. 2nd interview takes more preparation. They will send you a Powerpoint Deck with 4 slides via e-mail. You use those slides in your final presentation to pitch Demandforce to 5-6 people (Regional Managers, recruiters, Supervisors, etc) You pretend that you already work at Demandforce and are pitching to a small business. You get to chose which vertical (industry) you want these people to be. So if you chose Dental, you will have 1) a Dentist Owner 2) Receptionist 3) Maybe a General Manager. You want to sell them Demandforce. Try to probe to all the main people. The most important slide is the 3rd slide which talks about the Demandforce product. Make sure you are fluid with the basics on what Demandforce does. The best way to do so is check out their website and success stories from small business that use it. Also, check out Youtube. Do not read the slides word for word. Be creative and think of how you would like to be sold if you were a small business. Try to sell the product to them in under 10 minutes. They will usually make 2-3 objections just to see how well you think on your feet. Make sure you close hard after every objection. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I recently interviewed for the Account Executive position at Demandforce, and I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience. My initial impression was positive after the first round, but my enthusiasm quickly turned into frustration and disbelief during the second round of interviews. The first round of interviews went well, and I was hopeful about the potential opportunity with Demandforce. However, my optimism was shattered during the second round. The interview was scheduled as a video call, and I waited patiently for 20 minutes for the two interviewers to join. To my astonishment, they never showed up. During my wait, I took the initiative to email the recruiter twice to inquire about the delay, but I received no response whatsoever. Feeling left in the dark, I followed up two days later, only to be informed that they had decided not to move forward with my application. This revelation left me baffled and angered, as it became apparent that they had knowingly wasted my time, disregarded the interview appointment, and failed to communicate their decision properly. The lack of professionalism displayed by Demandforce in handling this interview process is truly appalling. It is beyond disrespectful to leave a candidate hanging for 20 minutes without any communication or explanation. Moreover, the fact that they chose not to move forward after subjecting me to such treatment is a clear indication of their disregard for candidates' time and efforts. What is particularly disheartening is the utter lack of common courtesy displayed by the company. Not only did they fail to show up for the scheduled interview, but they also failed to extend the basic courtesy of canceling or notifying me in advance about their decision. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and speaks volumes about the company's values and culture. I would strongly caution anyone considering applying for a position at Demandforce to seriously reconsider. If this is how they treat potential candidates during the interview process, it raises significant concerns about how they treat their employees and clients. Demandforce's behavior is grossly unprofessional, disrespectful, and indicative of a deeply flawed hiring process. In conclusion, my experience interviewing for the Account Executive role at Demandforce was marked by unprofessionalism, disrespect, and a complete disregard for candidates' time and efforts. I hope that sharing my experience will shed light on the company's concerning practices and encourage them to reflect on the importance of treating all candidates with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

I experienced complete lack of HR professionalism during the initial interview and promised follow-up. The interviewer mumbled through a script, repeating herself frequently, stumbling over paragraphs while she was reading. She seemed distracted as I asked questions, and kept looking over to a second screen, as if she was checking emails while trying to converse with me. The interviewer opened the conversation by presenting the job as being less than enticing, stating it was $55,000 base and that she often has candidates express interest and then back out once they discover the low salary. I later was able to discuss full OTE and frequency of commission payout (monthly) as the call progressed which I felt made the job more attractive. I was surprised the interviewer didn’t accentuate the positive aspects of the role and benefits of working for DemandForce. Again, it was more scripted. Position was presented as hybrid in office/remote with 7am-7:30am start time. KPI – 4 deals per month 3 month ramp up, 100% outbound. Conversation lasted 30 minutes and interviewer said next steps would be to present to two managers and that she would be in touch by a set date to confirm with me. The interviewer ended the conversation on a very positive note but never followed up as promised. I reached back out five days after the day she set for next steps and received an OOO email that she was traveling for two weeks on vacation. I reached out to the OOO contact and received a response that the sales hiring managers were also out for several weeks and that HR could not confirm if the position was still open. I was told they would be in touch once they had more information. Three weeks later I received a canned rejection email. I guess it was a blessing in disguise as I would not be interested in reapplying and definitely would not recommend to other sales professionals looking for new career opportunities. Hopefully DemandForce treats customers better than their career candidates.
