I applied for a position and had a positive initial interaction with the recruiter. The original role didn't align with my expectations, however, I was offered an alternative that seemed promising. The interview process was professional and encouraging. The first interview went really well and I was informed they wanted to proceed to the next step. Unfortunately, after that, communication became inconsistent. Despite follow-up emails I did not receive any updates regarding the status of my application. The lack of transparency was disappointing, especially given the positive early impressions.
This poor communication is concerning and disrespectful towards applicants. I believe that open and honest communication, even when there's no positive outcome, is essential in a professional setting.

Entretien
Excruciating. Made me feel guilty for not putting in enough effort in the assignment. Then asked me to redo the assignment "taking all the time I want". After slogging for 3 weeks, I had an interview, where two snobbish people came in, looked at the presentation, said that it was good, spent another 5 minutes asking me about my prior work and then dismissed me and closed the interview. I did not receive any respect nor regard. It felt like they needed the presentation and made me do it to use it somewhere else.
