Phone interview went well was initinally told would most likely schedule Interview with company rep next week. Next day received txt and call asking if I could interview that day at 1pm. I was able to make it happen on short notice. Interview face to face at company site. Reviewed resume and qualifications. Was an unorthodox interview, was not very long. Focused on ability to perform job and previous experience. No amazon type questions. Why I wanted to work there, why I was leaving current position. A few questions on troubleshooting physical and logical server connections. Questions on fiber. At end of interview was told would schedule interview with another manager. No other interview. Recruiter called to inform me they made a soft offer. Discussed offer. Informed recruiter of decision. Background was started and initial hiring docs. Background complete hard offer made
