I have attended two round of interviews. Applied directly through the job portal. Got a call after that based on the resume and portfolio. They have given me a design test before the next round of interview (time allotted was 2 days for the test). Once the test is submitted they will call you for a technical interview where you will explain the assignment and your portfolio and may be doing some quick test in their office. PROS The Bangalore office is cool, its a mixture of corporate and startup culture. People are very comfortable to deal with. You also get some goodies after interview. CONS The interview process was very poor. Design test given was very close to their product and the ideas of the candidates can be easily implemented if the candidate does a good job in the test. Which I felt is not fare. Design techincal interview for a senior Designer has been taken by very junior designers and which I was not expecting.The interview felt like a cake walk for me and felt like the company is not serious about the candidate and role. Very poor feedback system. you need to consistently follow up with the HR to know about the next step even after short listing to next round asif the company is not series about the vaccancy. I have contacted the HR more than 5-10 times to know when the next round is happening.No clear feedback has been given to me. All they were saying was the person is not available or traveling. I have stopped following up with the HR If the company is not serious about the candidates they should update the candidate that position is on hold or the reason for the delay.I found it very unprofessional with Directi. Overall they left a below average expeience.
