Applied online and received email next day requesting for a Phone interview, on phone interview day I was asked to come in for a in person interview the following week. It is a small start up, the hiring manager did not even send their address in the in person meeting invite, also no directions provided to reach there or how to get in to their office space. I believe if they are expecting to hire professional employees, they should lead by example by making sure that candidate experience is so nice that the candidate would look forward to interview and join the company. The in-person interview was not planned well, the lady who was interviewing me first had to step out as the other Manager ( recent hire - less than 2 weeks) had a flight to catch so he wanted to finish with his turn of interviewing me, he was in much hurry as he did not want to miss his flight. Later the lady came back again and while interviewing she got a call and she said she has to leave for home and excused herself, I sat there for next 45 mins waiting for next person to come in, at 4:45 PM the 3rd interviewer came in had casual conversation for next 15 mins and it was time. The 3rd interviewer was the only person who I felt was professional, though he came in late, he apologized and gave the details of why he was late and we had a meaningful conversation.

Overall the whole recruitment process with me was complete messy.This is startup company and in whole recruitment process it got refelcetd , they are very unorganized. They even dont know what are skills set they are looking for a a particular profile. They have outsourced their recruitment process to one small consultancy and their are lot of miscommunication between them.
