The first round was a 1.5hour live coding session that was surprisingly easy. I thought, okay, maybe this won’t be too bad. Then came the culture interview with the CTO easily one of the most off conversations I’ve had. He kept repeating how this “isn’t a place for 9–5 people,” how they’re “filled with ambitious rockstars,” and other generic buzzwords. Meanwhile, they’d just laid off their foreign team and moved hiring to India for obvious cost cutting. The final HR round somehow managed to be worse. The person I spoke to didn’t seem to know their own role, came off arrogant for no reason. And after all this? Straight up ghosted AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST
