I had an interview for a role at Economist impact and experienced bad communication throughout. After an initial interview with the HR team, I was told a next stage interview would be scheduled for the following week. I had to chase a couple of times as I didn't hear anything back for a few weeks. Finally had the interview, and never had an update about my progress, even though I was told I would get an update later in the week. I messaged a few weeks later but no response.

Entretien
Had a phone screen interview with their recruiter the same week I applied. More than half the call (1 hour total) was spent on the recruiter reading a summary of what The Economist is & does and the job description off the screen). The audio and video quality of their internet connection was abysmal which made the whole thing very difficult to follow. Spent some 20 minutes on a Q&A regarding my experience and how they hire. Ended the call with an action of hearing back from them in the next two days max(apparently they were in a hurry to start interviewing). Ten days later, I emailed for a follow-up. Ghosted. The role re-appeared on LinkedIn shortly.
