The interview was over the phone and was a very general 30 min interview. They only asked 8 or 9 very basic questions on the order of what was your favorite class, describe a time where you've gone above and beyond your job, etc. I initially got the impression that this phone interview was only the first of two or three interviews but they ended up hiring me without much fuss. Kinda makes you wonder....

Went through 3 rounds of interviews. Fitst two rounds included the same interview questions. I think they have a set list of questions they are required to ask. First interview was over the phone. Second was a video interview. Third was in-person.

I was selected by OPM as the top candidate, then the local HR office had me disqualified as a Engineer to give the job to a intern they had on staff for a year.

Entretien
Interview was with a panel of three highly qualified EPA staff. Interview lasted for 45 minutes, with last 15 minutes of overview and and questions. A set of 10 questions, most of which were behavorial and didn't have much to do with the job itself or specifically on experiences I have had. Two of the people were in the department I was applying to, while one was from an outside department. Said they would notify me 2+ months after.
