J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Epic (Madison, WI) en sept. 2012
Entretien
I submitted an application through their careers website and received prompt notification to complete a Rembrandt profile (personality). Within two days I was contacted to schedule a telephone interview.
The screening (phone) interview was with a Technical Services manager, was positive, and was primarily to verify my qualifications and explore fit. The following business day I was contacted to schedule two on-site written skills assessments - 1) a math general skills component and 2) a logic-based, problem-solving component. Evaluation was based on both speed and accuracy. I felt I did very well on both.
One week later they e-mailed stating they were no longer considering me. I requested criteria & constructive feedback regarding the decision (since I had many of the core qualifications and felt strong on the skills tests) but was informed the following day they were unable to provide that information. They have a reputation for preferring recent college graduates and I have 25+ years in the workforce, so I suspect I just didn't fit their preferred "mold" and it feels like discrimination. That experience, with no explanation, left me very disappointed.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The logic-based assessment built on information regarding computing language/syntax. I had no training or experience in computer programming, so it was a challenge to comprehend the information in one short sitting but it was very logical and I felt I grasped the content.

Filled out an online form at a college campus job fair, was contacted via email for a phone call, then a skills assessment, and then invited for an onsite interview

The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
