Entretien
The first several rounds were very promising. I was reached out to by a recruiter and then had a 30 minute interview with a current PM. The PM enthusiastically communicated that I would be a great fit for the company.
Next step was a proctored skills assessment done by a third party that due to covid, was severely massacred. I emailed the PM that there were a lot of disruptions during the exam that were out of my control (I had pleaded to allow me to grab earplugs but was told I could not until the next part of the exam, and once I was done with the first part, the proctor said I was already onto the next portion and would be unable to step away from the computer.
I let my recruiter and the PM know about this and requested a second chance for the exam but was told I shouldn't worry about it.
The process is very intense. Three or more hours of explanation, exams, and a presentation I had to create. The exams were both logic games and a personality test. I was preparing for weeks.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Explain a process that you find interesting. This can be any process - manufacturing, distribution of products, or a method to create something.
Not invested in who they're hiring if they rely heavily on multiple assessments for applicants to take (personality quiz, etc). These are unpaid and take hours. A poor use of time.
Intro zoom call, and several hours of tests on a lockdown browser before even getting to have the first ten minute phone interview. Phone interview was basically combing through my resume and any gaps.
