J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Epic (Bristol, Angleterre) en févr. 2023
Entretien
Had a 2+ hour online test which it seems everyone has to do regardless of role, lots of things that would be irrelevant to the job I was applying for like coding were tested. Despite that, it wasn't too hard, and I felt confident in most of my answers. I then had a phone screening interview which was a chat with a current employee who seemed nice. We talked about my experience, why I wanted the role and the usual getting-to-know-you chat. She even said to me on the phone that I'd ticked all of the boxes and would be great in the role. Then I got an email 2 weeks later saying they were moving forward with other candidates... No idea why as they, of course, don't give feedback. Bit of a mystery.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work for Epic? Are you willing to travel up to 50% of your time? Will you relocate to Bristol?
Not invested in who they're hiring if they rely heavily on multiple assessments for applicants to take (personality quiz, etc). These are unpaid and take hours. A poor use of time.
Intro zoom call, and several hours of tests on a lockdown browser before even getting to have the first ten minute phone interview. Phone interview was basically combing through my resume and any gaps.
After submitting the application, there was a personality assessment and a technical assessment to test your thinking skills. The technical assessment had 4 parts, some of which took a long time(~1.5 hours) while others were quick.
