Entretien
I applied thru a funding VC's job portal (I think Sequoia partners) and got an email within 10 days to setup an initial phone discussion with the hiring manager. Discussion lasted 30 minutes. Within 2 days of this happening, I was invite for onsite interviews with the team. During the first instance, I met with 5 folks and each discussion lasted about 30 minutes each. After clearing this round, they scheduled a second round within about 5 days. This was again a meeting with 5 other people (included senior folks from other teams as well). And. after clearing this round, I got called in to meet with the founders - two days after this meeting, they called me back with an offer which was competitive. After some deliberation, I accepted.

- what do you know about Eventbrite - have you used this product?
- What do you think the EB product can improve on - what do you think should be our priorities?
- Example of something you have managed and worked well?
- Example of something you managed and failed - what did you learn from it?
- scenario: "we are all working on a project together and suddenly we can no longer spend our time on this, and we cannot tell you why either. how would you handle this"
- how do you handle conflicts - give me a few examples when that worked and when it did not work.
- for a company of our size, what should we concentrate on as we grow?
- all standard project management questions - scheduling, planning, budgeting, communication, tracking, project management methodologies, etc.
- strengths, weaknesses,
- one interviewer flipped the pattern and started with "you ask me questions and we can start from there"

Entretien
The recruiter was prompt in scheduling the interviews. They were around 5 rounds of interviews and took considerable time around 5-6hrs in total which lasted for about 3weeks. If you are asking a candidate to be patient throughout the process, the least the company could do is inform them about the results and provide a feedback! The recruiter didnt bother to get back even after multiple follow ups. It was an utter waste of time!

All the interviewers asked the same basic project management behavioural questions in all the rounds. Didnt really understand the need for so many rounds
