Simple, friendly and straightforward. The first interview is by phone and is then followed up by a telephone interview at Dartmouth partners. this is a mix of biographic and technical questions and becomes harder as you progress.

Question 1
Why Investment banking, and the reasons behind your application was a major theme in the interview. Technical questions were fairly straightforward however being prepared for them was vital. They asked about DCF modelling and basic LBO models. Also brushed over other valuation techniques. This seemed to be an important focus for the interview.
