Interview Process: - 30 mins phone interview with HR w/ basic questions for pre-screening qualifications - 1 hour virtual interview with Regional Manager and Strategy/Planning Team for experiences and technical skills - Email Follow up

Sadly, the interview process with Eye Level was muddled, chaotic and unprofessional from start to finish. The interviewer had almost no information about the company itself, let alone the role, and repeatedly told me "you will need to ask someone else about that". After the initial interview I was informed they needed to re-interview me, as they hadn't collected enough information the first time. To my amazement, the follow-up interview was just as short as the first (approx. 15 minutes) with almost no questions asked again. I later discovered the interviewer had forgotten details of the package requirements discussed, and had therefore miscommunicated them to the senior management. Unfortunately the process didn't improve. Further interviews with members of senior management resulted in more of the same - seemingly pointless (bordering on surreal) interviews with almost no questions asked. Certainly no meaningful probing, or the usual challenging scenarios one would expect. The role was advertised as home-based and confirmed as such on my first interview. After my fourth interview, it was mentioned that "I may need to spend the first few months commuting to the office", which although was a surprise/concern to me, wasn't a barrier. The interviewer confirmed this wouldn't therefore be a problem. Eye Level contacted me, confirming they would like to make me an offer. A call was arranged in which they proceeded to inform me that company policy dictated I would have to work from the office permanently - a mere 5-hour round trip from my home! When asked why I had been misled in this way, they refused to provide any explanation. My experience of Eye Level was depressing, surreal and infuriating. They were completely inept at all stages of the process, with nobody able to provide the most fundamental of details such as how many franchises they currently have in the UK, or what the current support structure was. I turned down their offer and I would urge anyone thinking of applying to Eye Level to exercise extreme caution. They are completely disorganized, unprofessional and duplicitous. The entire interview process was farcical and took a darker turn when it became clear they had lied about details of the role. Beware!
