I got approached by Fashion Cloud through Honeypot.io. I had an initial call with their hiring manager, after which I was sent a take home challenge. The take-home challenge was timed. they sent me the email with all the files at a specified time and expected the result in 6 hours. The coding challenge was straightforward but was designed really well. It involved manipulating data presented in csv files and returning that data in a custom format. What they were looking for is efficiency and clean code. They felt unconvinced with my solution but did provide valuable detailed feedback. It was a decent experience overall.
