3 stage interview in the space of one week. The interviews themselves are fairly standard going through a screening call, followed by a deeper dive into your practical experience and capabilities. The final interview was more cultural fit based but was somewhat soured when asked to pay $97 for a wealth dynamics profile test upfront even if it would be reimbursed. If this is part of the interview process, it should be paid by the company upfront which they eventually did which i'm grateful for.
It did however seem a bit pointless given that the test results weren't even discussed however I accept there wasn't much lead time to review the results.
There is a lot mentioned about attracting top tier talent however having been through the process, the process, comms and expectations could be managed a lot better to attract and hire the best talent.
Having gone through all the stages and being made a verbal offer where a final call was booked to discuss salary etc, being emailed 1 minute before the call to then be told they've had a change of direction and will try to make it work internally is unprofessional.
That said, everyone I interacted with was very nice and genuinely passionate about what they do and what they want to achieve and I wish them the best as they look to scale.
