J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez FINCAD (Vancouver, BC) en août 2015
Entretien
Interviewed for a position in the Vancouver office from New York. Interview was set up via Skype. Interviewed by a junior quant and the "head quant", neither of which seemed to have any real banking experience nor understood the products they were asking questions about. These guys are in a catch-22. They need to hire better people, but no one from a Tier-1 IB is going to join them because you'd be paid about 1/2 (or less!) and your coworkers wouldn't be very knowledgable so your growth would be severely restricted. If you're a good quant, look elsewhere for opportunities.

Question 1
Some rates questions, simple questions about distributions, questions about black scholes and option pricing. Questions focused on trivial and well-known examples rather than deeper or bigger-picture issues.
