It was a very quick screening call going over my background and what the job would entail. The person I spoke with seemed very enthusiastic about my experience and shared they would follow up within a few days. They said they were distracted by some personal issues and went on to talk about them for a good portion of the interview, mentioning they might need me to follow up if they forget to get back to me which felt a bit unprofessional, though I was hopeful for a response. After almost a month and 4 emails later I finally got an update.
