I applied online, was called in a few days and interviewed the following week. The HR person asked when I was available, and they scheduled the interview on the only day I was not available! They were not flexible to reschedule so I could not attend an already paid for conference.
I met six people, back to back for 30 minutes each, in their Philadelphia HQ: two lead business analysts, the IT project owner, the change manager and the project executive.
Some interviewers were empathetic, others less so. One interviewer suggested we sit in an open lounge area, which required me to lean back in a mod chair! They were very open about the process and overall I felt good about each interview and very good about working with the project executive. By 4:30 PM my energy dipped, the executive spoke so fast, it was difficult to understand her, and now I see they already made a decision. The project is a major initiative but does not have a compelling message. They flattered me by asking my opinion as an expert, but weren't open to a creative solution apart from what they already expected.
The team used the words agile and lean, but only the IT director knew what those terms mean.
