The interview process was okay. I declined as a few of the ex-employees (lateral hires) strictly warned me about joining here saying that the leadership is quite amateur in managing lateral hires and sets them up with unrealistic expectations.

OLAP vs OLTP? What is Kafka? Explain the architecture? Explain the distributed and fault tolerance characteristics? How does kakfa store committed offsets for the partitions? What is the role of Zookeeper in this?
