You have to pay for your own background check $65 (refundable when you pass), then study to get your license for 2 months ($450-$900), then work as an associate... you get free office space, printer, etc... and earn between 10-20% commission on the 34 policies you have to sell to get to the next step. Don't spend any of that money you just earned because you need $5K liquid in savings to move to the next step (just incase you have a hard month). Your in this phase for like 1-3 months, then after you sell your 34 policies and have the $5K, you start receiving $3K/mo for like 3 years to aid in your efforts.
