My interview was scheduled for 11:30am. I had shown up five minutes prior and wasn't actually seen until about 12:30pm. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and spoke to me while I was waiting, and college football was playing on the lobby TV so it was a distraction to how long I was waiting. I was asked to fill out a form that asked (not too) personal questions such as my favorite book, what lead movie character would I like to play, etc. When I finally stepped into the interviewers office, he asked me basic interview questions (why am I considering leaving my current company, what are my short and long term goals, what am I hoping to achieve within this company, etc) and then went into detail about the kind of company they are. Pretty much, they're an outsourced RETAIL reps (not an account manager position as the hiring post said) and they're in large retail locations such as Walmart and Best Buy. You work in the retail location selling service such as AT&T, Spectrum, Verizon FiOS, and hopefully in the next 9mos-2years you become a retail manager, and work your way up to a "marketing manager" which is just, in all technicalities, a district manager with 20-30 store locations to run. I apologized and let them know this is not the kind of account manager position i was lookin for, and thanked them for their time.
