I was approached by their in-house satffing agency/recruiter. The salary range she set me at was astronomically hi for Tempe, AZ.. I told her she was pricing me out of the market for the job. Very informal and face to face interview. The work environment was very laxed and the employees were not dressed professionally... rather sloppy as a whole. The person giving the interview did not have any schooling or practical experience on computers (GUI interface and Design experience) or with production in the area of the job in question. There was no review of work portfolio or work performed in the desired medai in question. The weren't any practical application questions about secenarios on the job... it was for a Creative Directors position and managing artists, of which I have all the credentials and experience for. The follow-up was rather cold and one line in e-mail format. I found this strange since personal care and individual attentiveness to a client and their needs was just the tip of their professional sale on qualities they wanted. When I asked for their professional opinion on what could have been changed in my resume or in my multi-media portfolio I left, I received no response from HR, the recruiter or the interviewer.
Guess it wasn't menat to be. Next!
